How your path works
ACAV
ACADEMY of AUDITORY and VISUAL CONTEMPLATION
A non-profit organization.
A mathematical formula is laid out as a flat expression. It is based on a series of steps. You are not bound by a time constraint, though each practice level does have its own time target (see Four practice levels, below).
Your progress toward Ω (the convergence index) rests on nine independent components. None of them blocks you: whatever you haven't completed yet simply counts as zero, without stopping the rest from moving forward.
Starting point
Two questionnaires (QS and EXA)
About ten questions each. The passing threshold is set at 70% correct answers, but your score counts toward Ω from the very first attempt, whether you pass or not — and you can keep answering afterward to move closer to 100%.
Two readings (L1 and L2)
Two chapters to read — Welcome for L1, Teaching Foundations for L2. Each paragraph read earns 1 point, up to 100% (headings and subheadings don't count). Nothing to adjust by hand: progress is measured automatically as you read. And since the exponent is strict, a reading started but only half finished does not earn half the points — it's by going all the way through that the effort fully pays off.
Four practice levels (P1 to P4)
Recognition, Differentiation, Integration, Stabilization. Each level is tied to a personal practice timer, with its own target duration: 2000, 4000, 6000, then 8000 minutes. Start a live session in the app, or, if you already practice, add your minutes of experience directly. As with the readings, a level barely begun counts for very little — consistency is what pays off.
Diet
A single choice among 17 diets, always accessible and changeable in the Adapt step. Only one option is active at a time — you can adjust it according to your preferences whenever you wish.
In summary
Together, these nine components make up 100% of Ω. You start at 0%, and every bit of progress, however small, moves the index forward.
