No. 1 — It is easier to live simply than to live as a philosopher or a guide, but one must take care not to be too simple. Yet it is shocking to see false philosophers and false guides exploit the curiosity of those who live simply.

No. 2 — To be born is also to realize oneself. Yet ninety-nine percent of us do not know how.

No. 3 — Man waits for divine signs. He will find them within himself.

No. 4 — To remake history. Many are called, few are chosen.

No. 5 — The happiness of the sage lies in creation.

No. 6 — Wisdom is to live as long as possible, so as to contemplate as long as possible.

No. 7 — Immutability is being just, equally in good and in evil.

No. 8 — Do not trouble yourself with death; think instead of your birth, or rebirth.

No. 9 — No more than one percent of humanity can be asked to live in truth. The rest lack the spiritual resources to reach it.

No. 10 — Life goes on, since less than one percent of the human race can attain the divine flow. Not so for the other ninety-nine percent, who rest upon illusion. Adopt Shabda (Divine Vibration).

No. 11 — I watch all things pass through auditory contemplation (Shabda) and visual contemplation (Téjas).

No. 12 — The minimum required is to believe. Yet it is sad to see so many people settle for that minimum, never tasting the divine.

No. 13 — Faith is like the pilot light of the furnace, love is like the fuel, and respect is like the dosage. The flame burns within the method.

No. 263 — Wherever you may be, whoever you may be, the day will come when you understand that the Eternal is immutable. It was a flaw in His purity that created the universe—our refuge.

No. 264 — You may ask your ancestors for help; if you receive an answer, it means they still dwell in the timeless. If not, they are back in the temporal, caught in samsara.

No. 265 — Fear and unconsciousness retreat far from you when you contemplate the forms of the divine.
