ACAV — Academy of Auditory and Visual Contemplation

Message Initial is the site of ACAV — the Academy of Auditory and Visual Contemplation —, an autonomous inner path approach designed by Alain Lortie (Curseur), who has taught the auditory and visual contemplation method since 1987. Open to anyone curious about their inner life, believer or not, ACAV imposes no belief and excludes none: each user remains solely responsible for their own path.

The framework rests on two mathematical formulations, developed with the help of artificial intelligence, which converge toward the same conclusion: the statement of an invariant law. The first, P = E∞, links purity to infinite energy and retains its operational validity to this day; the second, D = E·û, is a further development. A complementary formula, Ω, sums up the entire progression of the path, up to its full convergence.

The path is built around an assessment of the spiritual quotient (QS) and an exam (EXA), supported by two chapters of the book "The Formulation": "Welcome," accessible for free in its entirety, and "Teaching Foundations," open to contributions. At the end of the path, a key — a method designed to enrich daily life beyond mere reading — is given to the user. A traditional and ancestral contemplative practice of at least twenty minutes a day is carried out at your own pace and without any imposed time constraint, in order to maximize its effectiveness.

Beyond these two formulas, the author has written several books that deepen ACAV's theoretical framework: the Treatise on Immutability, which lays out the foundations of the model in twenty themes; Mythology, a journey through Hindu mythology, from the Vedas to the Puranic deities; The Two Creations, which traces cosmogony and the theory of the kalpas, an ancient doctrine whose origins remain unknown; and The Laws, on the spiritual landmarks that accompany human realization. These are complemented by 476 quotes and 81 poems in French alexandrine verse, extending the reflection in a more literary form.
