Intelligence being a function that cannot operate without some mechanism driving it, it would be easy to try a few experiments to find its associations.

The two easiest would be its association with creativity and with fraud. The creative association is directly linked to artists, while the other is associated with governments. Not all of them, of course — though there are also some questionable organizations.

Let's look at other applications of intelligence: jealousy, suspicion, illogic, manipulation, and lying.

Let's examine our first case: suspicion and intelligence. A suspicious person surely possesses great intelligence. That intelligence won't find the solution — or if it does, it will take a great deal of time and energy. You owe it to suspicious people to help them. Don't underestimate them, and be careful.

Illogic and intelligence are, of course, a painful pairing — being able to produce a solution yet unable to deliver it. An illogical person may suffer from certain disorders, such as anxiety and hysteria.

Manipulation demands the utmost of intelligence; it works through various schemes to maintain its grip on other people. A sad fate, being a manipulator — another malformation of intelligence.

Lying, paired with intelligence, proves useful in many respects, but the trap always closes sooner or later. This pairing leads the individual toward aggression.

And so, on to jealousy. Unfortunately, its association with intelligence doesn't evolve well. Jealousy hides so deep within the folds of the ego that it can even weaken or strip away the intellect. Jealous people are capable of degrading acts.
